What is happening at Christ the King Manor?

Rumors and speculation have abounded since the news came out that Christ the King Manor on West Long Avenue near DuBois was changing top level staff.

In a letter dated June 7 from the Catholic Charities of the Erie Diocese, Christ the King Manor Board Chairman Steve Brazinski announced that Administrator Sam Zaffuto had been placed on administrative leave. David Thomas has been appointed interim-administrator.

In another move, Edward Andrulonis was named Chief Operating Officer effective June 10.

No explanation was given in the letter as to why these moves were made. The letter did state that the manor is financially sound.
