Reynoldsville Borough crews start Grant Street work
Borough crews got the spring/summer road work season underway this week. Currently a part of Grant Street is closed while bricks are being removed. Those bricks are being dumped behind the maintenance building. The street is slated to be paved. Borough council will continue its regular monthly meeting tonight at 6 p.m. to decide what additional streets will be paved this year.
The crew also assisted Reynoldsville Borough Police today in controlling traffic and parking to allow over-sized trucks navigate through the borough at the Fourth Street intersection. Parking spaces were roped off in front of the Reynoldsville Hardware Store to give the trucks the room they needed to swing around the corner. They were hauling parts of a new home to a location on Wayne Road.
