The Race for Reynoldsville

Memorial Day 2020 will see a new event in the borough: The Race for Reynoldsville.

Winslow Township resident Leanne Buhite-Waring is working with a committee of people to bring the event to Reynoldsville. She said she hopes it will raise the community awareness of two projects- the veteran’s memorial park and the Reynoldsville Pool renovations. She’s also hoping to raise money for both organizations.

The race will include a 5-K event and a 1-K walk/fun run.

Students at the C. G. Johnson Elementary School will help design the t-shirts. 

Buhite and her committee will be canvassing local businesses and industries for financial support. An account has been created at S and T Bank for the race and she hopes will become an annual event.
