Accident claims the life of a Reynoldsville man

A Jefferson County man lost his life in an accident on Route 219 near Carson Hill in Brady Township, Clearfield County, on May 2 at around 2:23 p.m.

State police say 77-year-old John A. Weber of Reynoldsville was traveling south on 219. While negotiating a right curve, his motorcycle crossed the double yellow line and struck the driver’s side of a northbound car driven by 46-year-old James V. Will of DuBois.

Weber was thrown from the motorcycle and was later pronounced dead at the scene. Will was injured and transported to Penn Highlands-DuBois.

Police were assisted at the scene by DuBois EMS, the Brady Township Fire Department, and PennDOT.
